Financial snapshot pilot for small businesses

You have data across spreadsheets, QuickBooks, timesheets, project files, and email. It rarely all comes together in one place, and when it does someone spent a weekend doing it by hand.

This pilot produces a single shareable report from the data you already have. No new software to adopt, no data migration, no forms to fill out.

See the shape of the deliverable

Case study: Medallion architecture for small businesses

Who this is for

  • Trades, service businesses, or e-commerce operators with ten to a hundred projects a year
  • Owners who have been meaning to run the numbers for months but keep pushing it off
  • Businesses at the multi-team scaling inflection, where owner memory stops covering everything

What you provide

  • A recent timesheet export in whatever format you use, CSV or Excel
  • Your customer or project list in whatever format
  • Access to your contract or estimate files, in a Drive folder, Dropbox, or a zip
  • QuickBooks export if you have one, which deepens the analysis but is not required

What you get

  • A PDF report covering the last full period, whether that is a year, a quarter, or whatever fits your business
  • Per-project profitability where the data allows it
  • Segmentation by size, customer type, or lead source
  • A written summary of the specific data cleanups that would deepen the next report
  • The pipeline runs again for you at a discount whenever you want an updated view

Timeline and investment

  • Two weeks from the day I have your data
  • One 30-minute kickoff call, one 30-minute walkthrough of the finished report
  • Fixed fee based on your data volume, half upfront and half on delivery
  • Case study rights included: I can talk publicly about the pattern and outcomes, using whatever level of anonymization you prefer, from real name to fully anonymized

If the pilot lands well

  • Quarterly refresh at a materially lower rate
  • Or on-demand reruns whenever you want an updated view
  • No obligation. Some shops want it monthly. Some run it once and are done. Both are fine.

Two things to know

  • I do not sell software or ask you to change your systems. The pipeline is my tool for producing your report.
  • If your data will not produce a useful report for your business, I will tell you honestly. In that case I do not charge for the diagnostic call and we part friends.
